Middle School Speech Program

Online, 9-Week Program

3 Supplemental hours are included in the fee in addition to the instructional hours. 

The class is one hour in duration, once a week. Some sessions will be 1.5 hours long. 

Students will have seven minutes to select a topic, brainstorm their ideas, outline the speech, and deliver it without notes. Students will develop fluency and build confidence while delivering Impromptu speeches. They will do many drills to master the skills required to give speeches.  Students can select either Impromptu speech or Original Oratory speech as their preferred choice for a capstone project. Our coaches will support students in preparing for tournaments. No class during school's spring break (Mar 31-April 6).  Tournament fees are always additional. Three hours of tournament prep is included in the cost. No classes during Spring Break (Mar 31-April 6). 

For grades 6–8

Online, Each Monday, March 17–May 19 (7.00 PM–8.00 PM) - Impromptu Speaking or Original Oratory

This is a group class, a minimum of three students is required. We also offer one-on-one coaching; different rates apply.

Location: Online Class

Cancelation/Refund Policy: The prorated process applies if the student withdraws before the last session of the program. This will be calculated based on the number of weeks students attended the sessions during the semester. Movement within the classes is allowed if space is available.

Payment: The first installment is due when signing up for the program. The second installment is due 30 days after the program starts, and the final and third installment is due 60 days after the program begins. By registering your child in the program, you also agree to follow the payment policy and pay by the due date.
